JOHN BEACHAM
Chief Executive Officer
John has completed more than $50 billion in transactions over his 25-year career and has structured financings which won CMBS or structured finance “Deal of the Year” awards four times. Prior to Toorak, John was the founder and President of B2R Finance, the leading mortgage origination company focused on the single family rental and residential bridge loan markets. B2R Finance (now Finance of America Commercial) is a Blackstone portfolio company.
Before founding B2R, John led Deutsche Bank's single family rental lending practice where he originated more than $5 billion in single-family rental loans made to large institutional acquirers of homes and structured the first ever securitization of single family rental properties. Prior to the formation of the SFR platform, John originated large balance commercial real estate loans in the CMBS group at Deutsche Bank and worked in the financial institutions investment banking groups at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse First Boston.
John graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude with an A.B. degree in economics.

ELI NOVEY
Chief Financial Officer
Eli has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance, treasury and accounting operations. Prior to joining the Toorak executive team, Eli worked for B2R Finance, the leading mortgage origination company focused on the single family rental and residential bridge loan markets. As B2R’s Treasurer, Eli oversaw the Company’s cash and liquidity management activities covering loan origination, business operations and the Company’s warehouse and mezzanine financing activities in support of B2R’s multiple functional and product areas, including the Dwell Bridge Lending Platform.
Prior to joining B2R, Eli served as the Corporate Controller of Northstar Realty Finance Corp, a diversified commercial REIT, where he was responsible for managing daily liquidity for the Company’s various assets and entities as well as supporting the Company’s expanding reporting and compliance requirements. Prior to that, Eli was a senior manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Banking & Capital Markets Assurance practice, where he served for 14 years, including a 2-year rotation in the Firm’s national office, where he supported a variety of residential, commercial, consumer and specialty lending clients.
Eli graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A in Business Economics.

TIM MARSH
Managing Director - Head of UK Lender Relations
Prior to Toorak, Tim was CEO and founder of Cogent Investments for over 9 years, a multi-national distressed asset platform, deploying over $100 million across both UK and US residential markets; acquiring over 500 individual assets through NPL acquisitions, foreclosure and administration sales. Alongside this, Tim founded a US-based asset management business to oversee the various portfolio requirements, acquisitions, construction management, property management and eventual disposal of assets.
Alongside Cogent, Tim worked with UK bridge and mezzanine lender Calmez, focusing on low value, high volume loan origination, working to grow the overall loan book while concentrating on improving credit quality. Tim also worked for two of the top London surveying firms and a residential investment fund prior to founding Cogent Investments.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Salford University.

KETAN PAREKH
Managing Director - Head of US Lender Relations & Capital Markets
Ketan has over 25 years of experience in residential structured products, mortgage and real estate banking. Prior to Toorak, Ketan was a Managing Director at Invictus Capital Partners, an alternative mortgage credit fund, where he was in charge of the business purpose loan business which included sourcing loans, managing credit and operations and portfolio and asset management. Prior to Invictus Ketan was a Partner & Managing Director at Window Rock Capital Partners, a mortgage credit fund which acquired residential mortgage loans -- specifically non-owner-occupied business purpose loans. Previously Ketan was Managing Director at Premium Point Investments, where was in charge WinWater’s residential whole loan conduit, acquiring and securitizing prime jumbo loans.
Ketan was also previously a Director with Bank of America Merrill Lynch for eight years, overseeing a variety of business lines including disposition of NPLs and REOs, securitization and mortgage lending solutions for all types of residential mortgage loans and led the SFR lending business. Prior to Bank of America, Ketan was at UBS co-heading the mortgage and asset-backed banking group. Ketan also headed capital markets at Ameriquest Mortgage Company, after having worked at KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ketan holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from James Madison University.

ERIC DYNER
Director - Head of Strategy
Eric Dyner is Head of Strategy at Toorak Capital Partners, where he oversees the company’s overall strategic initiatives. Before joining Toorak, Eric served as Head of Strategy & Merger Integration Lead for Retail Lending at PNC where he led the $25 billion BBVA USA lending integration, supervised loss mitigation efforts during COVID, and oversaw the launch of two all-digital products in partnerships with fintech firms. Prior to PNC, Eric held multiple leadership roles at Unicredit in Milan, spanning strategy, digital, and first-line credit risk. He began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and then at Oliver Wyman in various roles.
Eric graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. He then graduated with Honors with an MBA from INSEAD, in France. He lives in Scarsdale, NY with his wife and three children.

SCOTT GOLDMAN
Director - Head of Asset Management
Scott Goldman is Head of Asset Management at Toorak Capital Partners, where he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s asset portfolio and servicing oversight process. Mr. Goldman has nearly 25 years of experience in residential mortgage finance, risk management, secondary marketing, and servicing operations. Most recently he served as Vice President at Cenlar FSB responsible for developing and implementing a risk and controls framework. Prior to Cenlar, Scott was an officer at Ally Bank where he served as Senior Director leading the $40B Mortgage Servicing portfolio. During his 17-year tenure at Ally, he oversaw subservicers, regulatory requirements, onboarding process, customer retention efforts and workout strategies. Scott also has experience working in pricing / secondary marketing at Cendant Mortgage (aka PHH) and was a Special Assistant to the Deputy Mayor for the District of Columbia government.
Mr. Goldman holds a Bachelors in Political Science from University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s in Public Policy & Finance from American University. In addition, Mr. Goldman has his Certified Mortgage Bankers Accreditation from the Mortgage Bankers Association since 2017.

SACHIN VENUGOPAL
Chief Technology Officer
Sachin Venugopal is Chief Technology Officer at Toorak Capital Partners, responsible for driving operational efficiencies and transparency across Toorak’s best-in-class proprietary technology platform.
Sachin brings over 20 years of experience in developing enterprise technologies, he has designed and created software solutions for Fortune 500 companies and a leading investment management firm. Prior to joining Toorak, Venugopal served as a Vice President of Engineering at AQR Capital where he focused on digital and marketing technologies, and Senior Director of Engineering at McGraw-Hill where he focused on e-commerce and enterprise services.
Sachin holds a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in industrial electronics from Marathwada University.

JASON WARD
Director - Head of Credit
Jason, over his 15+ year career has been involved in the underwriting of more than $5 billion in debt and equity transactions across multiple asset classes and types. Prior to joining Toorak, Jason was Director at Hunt Real Estate Capital, focusing on the origination of multifamily housing, and previously served as the Deputy Chief Underwriter for Hunt. Prior to joining Hunt, Jason was AVP at Arbor, where he most recently was part of the team that developed Arbor Loan Express (“ALEX”) -a seamless automated lending platform. Additionally, he was part of the team responsible for building out the Freddie Mac Small Balance Loan (SBL) Program. His responsibilities included the underwriting of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debt, as well as supporting the development of new business lines.Before Arbor, Jason held underwriting and analytical positions at Housing Development Fund, UBS and Related Capital / Charter Mac.
Jason holds a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University and a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.

WILLIAM (BILL) COFFEY
Principal - Controller
Bill Coffey is responsible for our global accounting, financial reporting, tax, risk management, and internal controls at Toorak Capital Partners. Bill also leads our finance transformation efforts, bringing technology and digital innovation to critical elements of our finance function.
Bill has over 16 years of combined experience between public accounting, private industry, and consulting. Immediately prior to joining Toorak, Bill served as a Director in MorganFranklin Consulting’s Accounting and Transaction Services Group, supporting clients across industries with finance transformation, technical accounting, transaction services, SEC reporting, IPO readiness, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Bill began his career in public accounting, serving 14 years in the public company audit practice of PwC, including a two year tour in PwC’s National Office.
Bill is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and master’s in accounting from the LU School of Business.

COCO KE
Principal - Treasurer
Coco Ke is Treasurer at Toorak Capital Partners, where she is responsible for loan acquisition funding, financing, and cash management. Since joining the company at its inception in 2016, Coco has overseen the funding and financing of over $9 billion in U.S. real estate loans.
Prior to joining Toorak, Coco worked as a treasury analyst at B2R Finance, the leading mortgage origination company focused on the single-family rental and residential bridge loan markets. B2R Finance (now Finance of America Commercial) is a Blackstone portfolio company. In her prior role, Coco supported the company’s daily cash and liquidity activities including loan funding, monthly warehouse waterfall payment calculations for both single family rental and residential bridge loan markets.
Coco graduated from Fordham University with an M.S. degree in Accounting.

JOSEPH KOHOUT
Principal - Credit
Joe brings over 30 years of experience in mortgage capital deal management and has expertise in portfolio acquisitions, management and securitizations, as well as lending operations and credit/risk management. Joe served as Senior Vice President and Head of Credit at Verus Mortgage Capital, a position he also held at Window Rock Capital Partners, LLC., and WinWater Home Mortgage. Throughout his career, Joe has held senior leadership roles at Arbor Residential Mortgage, LLC., Nomura Securities, Bank of America, Credit Based Asset Servicing Securitization, Countrywide Securities Corporation, and Bear Stearns.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Western New England College.

SUZANNE KRETSCHMER
Principal - Head of Business Development
Suzanne Kretschmer is Principal and Head of Single-Family Business Development at Toorak Capital Partners, where she is responsible for supporting existing lender relationships as well as onboarding new partners.
Suzanne has 27 years of experience in the residential and commercial lending industry. Before joining Toorak, she worked at PeerStreet, a fintech loan aggregator of private money residential loans. At PeerStreet, Suzanne was the all-time top producer as Senior Director of Business Development and oversaw the management of 275+ accounts as East Coast Sales Director. Prior to PeerStreet, she served as a Vice President at First Capital, where she was a top producer, brokering conventional residential mortgages to high net-worth individuals.
Suzanne co-founded and was the Co-Executive Director of Grades of Green, an environmental non-profit dedicated to inspiring kids and the broader school community to care for the environment. Under her leadership, Grades of Green grew to include over 500,000 students in 47 states and 9 countries and was recently voted 2022 California Non-Profit of the Year.
Suzanne graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Communications.

ALEX MAMAEV
Principal – Asset Management
Alex Mamaev is Principal - Asset Management at Toorak Capital Partners, focused and overseeing the draw funding operations. Mr. Mamaev has over 25 years of experience in real estate, working as a builder and real estate developer in New York, supervising residential gut-rehab and ground up construction projects from acquisition, design, development through construction execution to sign off and commissioning. During his tenure, Mr. Mamaev also held executive roles in finance and operations departments. Prior to Toorak, he founded and grew a local residential general contracting firm to a regional scale.
Mr. Mamaev holds an MS degree in Computer Science from Lomonosov State University and MS in Economics from Higher School of Economics.

ALEKSANDRA SIMANOVSKY
Principal - Capital Markets & Strategy
Aleksandra Simanovsky is the Principal in the Capital Markets Group focused on the securitization program and marketing efforts at Toorak Capital Partners.
Aleksandra has over 15 years of experience in covering commercial real estate and residential real estate loan sectors. Before joining Toorak, Aleksandra spent 4 years as a Vice President in Deutsche Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group, where she led the new issuance of over $40 billion in commercial real estate backed securitization deals.
Aleksandra began her career as a credit analyst at Moody’s Investors Service, where between 2003 and 2014 she worked in the Residential Mortgage-Backed, Asset-Backed and the Commercial Mortgage Backed-Securitization groups and underwrote real estate loans, modeled cashflows, and authored, presented, and published credit opinions, research and methodologies, Her research has been cited in Bloomberg/Businessweek, CNBC, HousingWire and Washington Post.
Aleksandra and her husband invest personally in real estate, currently owning 11 rental units and one office property that they purchased, rehabilitated, and leased in Staten Island, New York. Aleksandra graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in finance from Pace University.

PAULA TEPPER
Principal - Head of Human Resources
Paula Tepper is Head of Human Resources at Toorak, a role to which she brings extensive experience in the financial services industry, having served in various leadership roles in corporate and revenue generating human resources functions throughout her career.
Prior to joining Toorak, Paula held various roles in human resources and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) at PGIM, the asset management business of Prudential Financial. Paula’s experience spans the HR spectrum, including strategy, building inclusive cultures, talent and performance management, employee engagement, and compensation. Paula was instrumental in the formation of PGIM’s Women Advisory Council and Diversity Council, where she designed, implemented, and led various initiatives focused on women and people of color. She was also a member of several external organizations focused on changing the face of DE&I in the asset management industry.
Paula started her career at Prudential Financial in the Tax Division, quickly transitioning to Human Resources. She graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

STEPHEN J. TYDE, JR.
Principal - Head of Special Servicing
Prior to joining Toorak, Stephen spent 8 years as a Director with Rialto Capital Advisors in Atlanta where he ran whole loan workouts, special servicing, and REO. His teams generated over $394 million in whole loan workout revenue over a five-year period, and over $110 million in one year. Stephen previously served as Vice President of Loan Servicing at DLP Real Estate Capital, where he was responsible for all facets of servicing a $450 million loan portfolio. His experience also includes senior positions with publicly traded homebuilders, having run land acquisition and development for divisions of Pulte Homes, Beazer Homes, and Levitt & Sons.
Earlier in his career, Stephen spent 7 years as a litigation attorney specializing in real estate and commercial litigation, land use and zoning, and bankruptcy.
He holds an M.B.A. from The Goizueta School of Business at Emory University, a J.D. from The Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from University of Tulsa.
